Description

The VCX 1500 is a reliable and durable ultrasonic processor suitable for many applications.
This model includes a 1” diameter, 10” long probe with a maximum amplitude of 100 µm.

A wide range of probe options are available, including the flow cell inline processing accessory.
Electrical requirements: 220V, 50/60Hz, single phase, 20A.

Note: Air cooling of the converter by a compressed air source is required. The user must supply approximately 10 psi (5 cfm) of clean, dry air to prevent overheating of the ultrasonic processor.

Operation

• The liquid sample is pumped into the flow cell through the bottom inlet.
• As it passes through the cavitation field, it is processed.
• The processed liquid exits via the outlet port.
• Processing level is controlled by adjusting sonication intensity and flow rate.

Additional Notes

• The flow cell is water-jacketed for cooling during processing.
• Easily disassembled for inspection and cleaning.
• All wetted parts are autoclavable.
• Recommended for low-viscosity samples that do not require extended exposure to ultrasonics.
• For optimal performance, pre-mix the sample with a mechanical stirrer.
• Multiple units can be connected in series to reduce processing time and/or maintain higher flow rates.
