Akron Abrasion Tester

Akron Abrasion Tester is a widely used abrasion tester.

It rotates a disc shaped test piece at a constant speed, to which an abrasion wheel is pressed with a fixed load. The abrasion wheel is set at an angle to the test piece, and abrasion amount will be observed.

The model AB-1511 has a preset counter which will stop testing automatically when a set rotation is reached.

The model AB-1530 can set the test piece speed between 75 and 250rpm.
