AB-1511 Akron Abrasion Tester is a widely used abrasion tester. It rotates a disc shaped test piece at a constant speed, to which an abrasion wheel is pressed with a fixed load. The abrasion wheel is set at an angle to the test piece, and abrasion amount will be observed. The model AB-1511 has a preset counter which will stop testing automatically when a set rotation is reached.

The AB-1511 Akron abrasion tester is one of the wear testing machines that have been repeatedly used until now, and an angle is applied to a disc-shaped test rotated at a constant speed, and THE AMOUNT OF WEAR IS PRESSED BY PRESSING A GRINDING WHEEL AGAINST IT WITH A CONSTANT LOAD.
